As a Senior Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our Content Manager engineering team. This role drives full-stack development initiatives and leads the critical modernizing/refactoring of our platform. This person is an expert in setting up CI/CD and database migration (Oracle to PostgreSQL). The role will involve leveraging expertise to solve complex engineering challenges, devising innovative solutions, and providing strategic guidance on sophisticated engineering matters. It plays a crucial role in shaping the future of applications and ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.

Technical Mastery

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

• Spearhead the migration of our database systems, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

• Design, optimize, and manage complex data models and structures, ensuring efficient data flow and integrity.

• Integrate external services and APIs to enhance functionality and interoperability across platforms.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Drive the adoption of new tools and methodologies to continuously improve our technology stack.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 + of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability, with hands-on experience building large-scale, distributed applications.

• 5 + years in full-stack development, designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust systems.

- 3 + years in .Net/C#

- 3 + years working in Front-end frameworks like Angular, react, etc.

- Experience in refactoring and rearchitecting applications to modern software platforms, enabling CI/CD with tools such as GitLab, Podman, Terraform, and more.

• Experience with database migration, preferably from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Migrating applications from .net 4.6.1 to 4.8

$119,439.36 - $179,159.04
